Wolfram Alpha – a top-tier computational knowledge engine, offering tech to industry players’ services, such as Apple’s Siri assistant – is reportedly planning to complete data integration from the Cardano blockchain.
Specifically, Wolfram Blockchain Labs (WBL) – a Wolfram Research division – is reportedly forming an alliance with Charles Hoskinson-founded tech company IOHK.
Via the collaboration, both firms will reportedly jointly work on the integration process of Cardano’s blockchain data into Wolfram Alpha, enabling developers to finalize integration process for data from external sources, into Cardano’s smart contracts.
The new alliance will reportedly focus on work regarding what is referred to as “avant-garde oracles” – which the firm believed to be a needed factor in the design of advanced smart contracts.
WBL and IOHK will reportedly make the new feature available next year, with the integration to be tentatively rolled out in the latter part of 2021.
The integration for Wolfram’s computational tech as well as knowledge site has reportedly been carried out in the past, for well known blockchain platforms, nominally the Bitcoin blockchain and the Ethereum network.
Different platforms have finalized the integration reportedly including the ARK blockchain framework and Bloxberg, a major blockchain project spearheaded by the Max Planck Society.
Furthermore, IOHK will reportedly be assisting WBL in creating smart-contract-powered applications, as included in a broader initiative to enable blockchain-based commerce and business model transformation.
