KPMG Rolled Out Track-and-trace Solution In Australia, Japan And China

KPMG – one of the top 4 auditing heavyweights – has reportedly rolled out a track and trace solution, based in Australia, China and Japan, and powered by blockchain

Specifically, the new tool – goes by the name “KPMG Origins” – was particularly built to make the processes across numerous sectors, nominally agriculture, manufacturing and financial services, more transparent and traceable

The successful pilot projects with customers coming from the 3 above-mentioned nations have given way for the official introduction of KPMG Origins there. 

Utilizing numerous cutting-edge technology nowadays, nominally blockchain or IoT, KPMG Origin aims to enhance the KPMG Origin. The platform has the power to make it possible for trading partners to send their product data across their supply chains to end users, and at the same time simplifying the complexities, operation-wise. 

SunRice – a major name in the Australian branded food exporting industry – along with Canegrowers, a representing company for sugarcane growers, and vineyard sugarcane growers, have been testing out the KPMG Origins tool in Australia. 

“A blockchain solution, such as KPMG Origins, could provide a platform which will enable end-users to capture the sustainability credentials of the product directly from the grower to customer.” Matt Kealley, senior manager at membership engagement and innovation at Canegrowers, shared his remarks regarding the development.
