The development of ‘Industry 4.0’ has received over 12 million euros ($13 million) from the government of the Spanish city of Aragon, aiming at developing blockchain technology, artificial intelligence (AI) and other emerging technologies.

As reported by the the local news outlet La Vanguardia last week, the $13 million fund will help to develop the industrial property, consulting project, as well as the analysis and planning activities of blockchain-related projects.

The main goal of the program is to educate and promote the ‘Industry 4.0’ concept and technologies.
