Shiba Inu Added to List Of Viable Payment Measure For A Paris Restaurant

By Natalie Wu | November 1, 2021

Le Bistrot d’Eleonore et Maxence, a restaurant in Paris, France has reportedly become one of the latest entities to hop onboard the Shiba Inu (SHIB) train, accepting it as a medium of payment at their place.

Specifically, the news reportedly surfaced via a video shared by a local resident and crypto investor Natheno Davy, showing that two fresh stickers claiming “Shiba Inu accepted here” are visible at the main entrance.

Davy additionally revealed that he came in contact with an employee of the restaurant to double check on the legitimacy of the stickers – with SHIB added to the list of viable payment measures – prior to filming his footage.

“Precisely at that moment, a group of four men paid their lunch bill using Shiba Inu. It was magic!”

Davy reportedly paid an additional trip to the restaurant with his friends, and used SHIB to finalize the payment for his EUR 250 (approximately $290) buffet. With the footage becoming viral across social media platforms, the restaurant confirmed a sudden spike in foot traffic.

“The restaurant has now become the best in the area. Locals are expecting a wave of restaurants to start accepting cryptocurrencies as a payment method.”

Davy – operating as a veteran investor – reportedly disclosed that Shiba Inu has been the top investment in his career.

“I love cryptocurrency, especially SHIB. Crypto has the power to change everything.”

The mainstream adoption of Shiba Inu was created directly by the current bull run that keeps on reeling in support from new investors. At the time of writing, SHIB just overtook Dogecoin (DOGE) to secure the ninth spot in the list of top tokens in terms of market capitalization.
