Japan-based Exchange Coincheck Finalized Chiliz and Socios’ NFTs Listing On Its Platform

Japan-based crypto exchange platform Coincheck has reportedly forged an alliance with top-tier international fan token makers, Chiliz and Socios, to finalize listings of their NFT. 

Specifically, the listings of Chiliz and Socios’ NFT on Coincheck’s new NFT marketplace is reportedly covered within the scope of the collaboration. The two entities will reportedly also use NFTs as rewards for their token holders. 

Coincheck initially disclosed its tentative plan to make a new NFT platform available in August last year, and per most updated news, Coincheck’s platform has reportedly finalized the listing of numerous NFTs for five popular games, as well as possess more than 2.2 million users. 

Coincheck’s executive director Kensuke Amo reportedly shared that the newly forged alliance with Chiliz is reportedly in a bid to offer additional opportunities for sports supporters in the nation.

“Japanese users will have the opportunity to get to know Chiliz and get closer to some of the biggest sporting organizations in the world by purchasing Socios.com NFTs on Coincheck’s NFT marketplace,” Amo further claimed. 

Head of Chiliz and Socios – Alexandre Dreyfus – reportedly highlighted that the collaboration will enable Japan-based users to have in possession assets, associated with the top-tier entities in the world of football, nominally FC Barcelona and Juventus. 

“We’re really focused on NFTs in 2021 and have the potential to launch them with every single one of our partners. We’ll also be looking to give them a certain utility — for instance the chance to redeem rewards linked to the particular club,” Dreyfus reportedly revealed how the partnership was finalized in line with Chiliz and Socios’ global expansion and NFT plans in 2021.
