National Football League (NFL) team Houston Texans reportedly become the pioneering entity in the league to sell single-game suites with the assistance from crypto.

Specifically, the initiative is reportedly included within the scope of a deal with Texas-headquartered crypto entity BitWallet, which as of Aug. 16 became the official crypto wallet provider for the team.

BitWallet will further offer intermediary services via exchanging crypto for cash for the Houston Texans.

As revealed via an announcement from the Houston Texans, digital marketing agency EWR Digital in the region reportedly finalized the first single-game suite purchasing with the help of crypto, not long after the offer introduced, going down in history as the first game suite to have been sold in exchange for digital assets.

The crypto deal is reportedly to be available for for suites only, since no mention has been recorded of the supporting feature for buying regular game day tickets with digital assets at this stage.

The Houston Texans’ website does not public listing for the price of single-game or full season suites, but rather requiring a submission of an inquiry to secure one. From the Seat runs estimations claiming that the cost of a single game suite for the team falls between $14,000 to $25,000.

BitWallet boasts to be supported throughout more than 160 nations and currently enables users to trade or hodl Bitcoin, (BTC), and has plans to roll out support for Ether (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), Shiba Inu (SHIB), Tether (USDT) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) over the next couple of months.

A game suite refers to a luxury private viewing box in the stadium that is often decked out with buffets, expensive alcohol, bathrooms, TVs, attendants, and a prime location to view the game.
