Vanessa Grellet – an expert spending half a decade working at Ethereum software firm ConsenSys – will reportedly be starting a new adventure at crypto investment group CoinFund, as head of portfolio growth.

Specifically disclosed by CoinFund on May 6th, Grellet would reportedly be in charge of leading its portfolio – consisting of over 50 firms and initiatives.

The new head of portfolio growth will reportedly have a primary target of closing the gap between the spheres of traditional entities, with decentralized networks, via establishing partnerships between blockchain projects and protocols.

“My team will serve as partners who support and guide founders and their teams during their journeys from early-stage to growth-at-scale. The firm’s investment in our Portfolio Growth team […] demonstrates our dedication to meeting the needs of early-stage companies as well as our long-term commitment to the blockchain industry.”

CoinFund has reportedly made investments in numerous initiatives with much popularity across the crypto sphere. In September last year, the company lent its support to nonfungible token-based digital art marketplace Rarible, with its governance token experiencing a two-fold increase, regarding price value.

The investment group was also the funding entity for Delta Exchange’s efforts to widen its scope, covering the Indian markets, back in May 2020.

Prior to the latest job, Grellet previously took up the position of a corporate strategy executive at the New York Stock Exchange. She has a chair on the boards of the Arts and Antiquities Blockchain Consortium and the Accounting Blockchain Coalition at the moment, as well as being a president of the Blockchain for Social Impact Coalition.
