Chinese Blockchain Project BSN Establishes Two New Portals In Turkey & Uzbekistan

By Natalie Wu | October 13, 2021

The blockchain initiative supported by the Chinese authority – the Blockchain-based Service Network (BSN) – has reportedly widened its global scope with two fresh portals in Turkey and Uzbekistan.

Specifically, Red Date Technology – the architect in charge of building the BSN initiative – has reportedly forged a deal with the Turkey-headquartered consultancy entity, Turkish Chinese Business Matching Center (TUCEM), to roll out two global BSN portals, located in Turkey and Uzbekistan, in December this year.

Introduced in 2006, TUSEM reportedly turned into a high-profile economic cooperation hub connecting Turkey and China. The firm will exclusively handle the operations of the two new BSN portals, providing blockchain-as-a-service (BaaS) in Turkey and Uzbekistan.

The new portals will make it possible for blockchain developers in Turkey and Uzbekistan to design BaaS applications, with the assistance of the global BSN portal, hosting top-tier blockchains, nominally the Ethereum network, Algorand, Polkadot, Tezos, ConsenSys Quorum, Corda and others.

The project reportedly has a primary goal of offering solutions to significant problems related to building blockchain applications, achieving blockchain interoperability as well as bringing down development costs.

“Turkey has long played a role as a bridge between Asia and Europe and so it is fitting that the first BSN portal outside of Asia will be launched there,” Head of Red Date Technology, Yifan He, further remarked.

Mehmet Akfırat, president of TUCEM and BSN Turkey CEO, additionally shared that the BSN’s Turkish portal will add extra value to social development and financial inclusion, with the engagement levels from both Turkey and Uzbekistan are high.
