CEO of major crypto exchange Binance Changpeng Zhao has recently introduced the launch of “Binance Futures” trading platform in September.

Zhao made his announcement during a session called “ask me anything” on Twitter. The firm is said to shift its focus to the staking business.

Binance opened up the launching plan of its trading platform on July.

Initially, the exchange will support BTC/USDT contracts at a leverage of up to 20x. Zhao’s statement went out during a keynote speech delivered at the Asia Blockchain Summit, organized in Taipei.

During the speech, he did not reveal the exact launch date of the platform. However, Zhao noted that a simulation test version would be launching within a few weeks.

Recently, the Binance CEO has reportedly shared his extreme confidence in crypto industry’s future, despite the ongoing bear market. He stated that Binance intends to start off the new year “with a bang” in line with the company’s bullish outlook on the sector.
