US Air Force Utilizes Constellation’s Hypergraph For Security Via New Blockchain Project

By Shannon Wilson | August 27, 2021

The US Air Force is reportedly investing resources on a blockchain-powered project, which will select Constellation’s Hypergraph Network as the provider of data security.

Specifically, Constellation reportedly disclosed on August 26th that it had been collaborating with Kinnami Software Corporation, to jointly roll out an end-to-end data security offering, employing blockchain encryption and distributed data management.

The new solution will reportedly be catering to the needs of the United States Transportation Command, Air Mobility Command’s 618th Air Operations Center, and a Civil Reserve Air Fleet partner.

The solution primarily aims to establish a secure gateway for data exchange commercial partners on missions that require using aircraft and ships under contract to the Department of Defense.

The US Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) reportedly granted governmental bodies the regulatory greenlight to coordinate missions employing available resources from both the military and private sector.

Constellation Network’s solution potentially offers the needed features to enhance the current cybersecurity and general effectiveness.

“In the last few years, blockchain technology has become very attractive to enterprise organizations with its promise to deliver more efficiency and security for numerous use cases, including supply chain management” Constellation co-founder and chief strategy officer Benjamin Diggles reportedly remarked regarding the development.

Per Diggles, the contract opens will reportedly result in an increasing number of opportunities where larger, more critical uses of blockchain for data protection are available, throughout an international digital infrastructure, meeting the true promises of the core tech.
