US Air Force Employs SIMBA Chain For Creation Of Budgeting & Accounting Solution

The United States Military is reportedly forming a partnership with SIMBA Chain to utlize blockchain for streamlining its budgeting and accounting processes.

Specifically, the US Military has reportedly been investing efforts in running blockchain experiments for a variety of settings to improve its operations. 

Now, the USAF has reportedly tapped SIMBA Chain, a blockchain-as-a-service platform, to build a a blockchain-powered solution, supporting the tracking and monitoring the military’s cash flow and supply chain quality and management.

The system – going by the name “Digital Blockchain Budgeting Accountability and Tracking (DiBaT)” – reportedly works towards the primary target of achieving tokenization for all dollars within the USAF supply chain budget, together with tracking fund movement across billing centers, purchasing teams and suppliers.

DiBaT aims to employ SIMBA Blocks for the tracking and auditing of funds in a secure, zero-trust, tamper-proof blockchain, which turns the way money is utilized visible to USAF management, along with the way it is presently positioned within the allocation and payment network. 

It will additionally amplify supply chain visibility and transparency in the materials purchased.

Joel Neidig, co-founder and president of SIMBA Chain, reportedly revealed that the joint expectation of the company and the US Air Force for the initiative is to establish a beneficial effect, transparency and efficiency-wise, while at the same time offering help regarding the determination process of the return on investment from items they acquire frequently.
