Crypto key management firm – Torus – has reportedly made its non-custodial key management tool DirectAuth available – promoting enhanced log-in process for web3 applications.

Specifically, DirectAuth was reportedly built upon the foundation of the Torus Wallet, which supports one-click logins for decentralized applications (DApps). The new DirectAuth will reportedly enable persistent log-in sequence, as well as making transactions more efficient, offer and in-app signing.

DirectAuth reportedly employed multi-party computation (MPC) for distributed key issuance.

Customers will reportedly be given the power to conduct ERC-20 and ERC-721 tokens transfers to Google emails, Reddit usernames, or Discord IDs via Torus.

Zhen Yu Yong – Torus co-founder – reportedly highlighted Torus’s plan to “bring web2.0-like to Web3 dapps.”

Per Zhen, making customer experiences better is reportedly essential achieving an enhanced level of adoption for crypto assets and decentralized finance (Defi).

Zhen reportedly shared that the every step of the existing dapp ecosystem comes with a complicated log-ins, consequently making the experiences unpleasant for customers.

“We all know triggering a pop-up on every transaction is not a great UX for the end-user, especially a mainstream user.” Yong further remarked.

DirectAuth has reportedly selected by a few major blockchain-powered games to integrate it into their system, including SkyWeaver and Good Dollar.
