Time Magazine – via a collaboration with top-tier cryptocurrency platform Crypto.com – has reportedly added crypto to its list of viable payment methods for its 18-month digital subscription.

Specifically, any individual looking to finalize their payment using Crypto.org Coin (CRO) will reportedly be granted a maximum of 10% cash back on their purchase, with the value of the digital subscription standing at $49.

The crypto selection for payment is reportedly accessible for users living in America and Canada exclusively at the moment, with an international release slated to to be carried out in July this year.

Keith Grossman, president of Time Magazine, reportedly shared that the Crypto.com collaboration is a sign of adapting additional innovations to enable his publication to further develop on its current community of 2.3 million subscribers.

Bharat Krish, chief technology officer of Time, reportedly referred to the virtual coin, functioning as means of payments, as the “next phase in Time’s continued digital transformation and is the latest example of how Time is embracing new technologies in order to build innovative products and offerings for all members of our community.”

Time Magazine has reportedly been acting quickly to adopt a pro-attitude towards crypto assets in 2021, having only recently completed the auctioning for three non fungible token covers, based on the now famous, “Is God Dead?” design from April 8, 1966. For its April 5, 2021, cover, Time asked, “Is Fiat Dead?” in reference to state-backed paper currencies.

Crypto.com has reportedly been in the forefront position when it comes to virtual currency payments, offering customers a substantial discount sum, when completing payment using its native CRO token.
