Theta Teamed Up With Gaming Platform From Korea to Reward Its 3M Users

By Shannon Wilson | July 17, 2020

The token-based Esports streaming platform Theta has reportedly set foot in Korea, via a newly formed collaboration with the local gaming-centric social platform Ludena Protocol.

Specifically, the collaboration will reportedly allow Theta to finalize the integration of its protocol into the DApp GameTalkTalk platform, granting access to Theta’s streaming services for more than 3 million users, as well as offering rewards to gamers for viewing or streaming content.

Theta’s TFUEL token will reportedly be the form in which the rewards will be granted to the users.

The agreement will reportedly make an exclusive GameTalkTalk channel available across Theta’s streaming platform, Theta TV, consequently open the door for Ludena to approach Theta’s audience of over five million users.

The integration will reportedly include the first release of the android-focused Theta’s Live Mobile Embed service, enabling Theta TV content to be broadcasted across the mobile environment.

Theta Labs and Ludena Protocol will reportedly also team up on marketing GameTalkTalk to Theta’s European and North American communities.

Mitch Liu, CEO of Theta Labs – reportedly referred to GameTalkTalk as “an ideal partner” to support the release of the Theta Live Mobile Embed product.

“In just a couple of months after announcing Theta Live Embed, it is now live on more than dozens of partner sites globally and we are excited to branch out to Korea for the first time and to onboard local content,” Liu further claimed.
