Bitcoin.com is going through a major change in its directing structure. While Stefan Rust has officially appointed CEO, Roger Ver has became the Executive Chairman of Bitcoin.com.

Commenting on the structure change, Rust said: ““I’m hugely excited to take on the role of CEO working alongside Roger. Together we can now turbocharge the awesome team and great brand that is Bitcoin.com,” adding “It’s going to be a wild ride, so don’t miss it!”

Two executives plan to co-lead Bitcoin.com. As an Executive Chairman, Ver is now overseeing financial matters and leading the company to run in prober directions. Ver had a deep understanding of Bitcoin.com operations due to 3 years working as a CEO.

In February this year, Rust joined Bitcoin.com and worked as Global Head of Corporate and Business Development. Prior to that, Rust has created Exicon, a marketing automation platform.

Earlier in May, Craig Wright – a self-proclaimed Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto – has brought Ver to court with a libel lawsuit in London. Ver has been sued for calling Wright a fraud and a liar. However, judge Matthew Nicklin from the High Court of England and Wales has reportedly moved the libel legal complaint into dismissal due to lack of reputation-damage evidence.
