The Norway-based governmental agency Brønnøysund Register Center reportedly forged an alliance with Big Four accounting entity Ernst & Young (EY) for its metaverse journey, via a new virtual office set-up.

Specifically, the facility will reportedly take care of the management tasks for several public registers for Norway, together with networks for the government’s digital exchange of data.

Per the announcement, the agency is reportedly gearing towards the creation of a metaverse location due to the “future users of public services are there,” with further desire to appeal to the younger generation that utilizes its services.

“More and more authorities see a clear need of being present at the platforms where mainly younger generations are both for tax and legal purposes with regards to information.”

The virtual office is reportedly putting in resources to provide data on crypto reporting to users through the Norwegian Tax Agency and information regarding the way to begin an enterprise from experts at the Brønnøysund Registers.

Andreas Hamnes, a business developer at the Brønnøysund Registers, additionally claimed that should services carry on with their current growth track as they do now, it will contribute to increased alienation for generations who were “born digital.”

Jones went on stating that the next generation is the primary group of target audience that is designing “DeFi-based landscapes” for, and they often have no idea or insufficient knowledge regarding tax or legal implications.

“That is why public authorities in Norway want to inform [them] about everything: from how you register a company, at what threshold VAT registrations arise, how to report your cryptos, etc.”

EY also previously established a metaverse facility in Decentraland, after rolling out its numerous Web3 developments, which include multi-million-dollar investments in the development of its own blockchain suite.
