Landon Cassill – a professional racer competing in NASCAR’s Xfinity Series – is reportedly accepting a sum of his wage paid out in Bitcoin and Litecoin, as included in a sponsorship agreement with crypto broker Voyager.

Specifically, Cassill has reportedly entered a sponsorship deal with Voyager lasting for 19 years at the NASCAR race at the Nashville Superspeedway.

Cassill reportedly revealed that Voyager will finalize the payout of the sum of salary entirely in crypto, with a “portfolio of various digital assets” covering Bitcoin (BTC) and Litecoin (LTC).

The NASCAR driver has reportedly been adopting a “very active” stance within the Litecoin market, together with different additional tokens, and has achieved noteworthy growth in numerous years. His current avatar on Twitter is him in racing clothes and laser eyes – a sign on social media displaying an individual’s interest in crypto.

“Started mining Bitcoin in my basement now we’re here https://t.co/Tpl4rWTOCE — Landon Cassill (@landoncassill) June 17, 2021”

Cassill further remarked that there are several pilots who find crypto interesting, but he regarded himself as the one who “has been around long enough”, and has no problem understanding the way digital coins function.

“I can trade it right away before the market changes or hold on to it while the market goes up or down, take out a little, pay my bills with it and keep the rest.”

Different NASCAR drivers have also formed collaborations with crypto entities before. Last year, Darrell “Bubba” Wallace participated in a NASCAR racing series with Square’s Cash App car, which came with at least two BTC logos inked on it.
