Fetch.ai Rolled Out NFT Platform Dedicated to AI-generated Art

By Shannon Wilson | August 25, 2021

Blockchain artificial intelligence lab Fetch.ai has reportedly released a new NFT marketplace dedicated to showcasing AI-generated art, enabling digital collectibles creation via machine learning.

Specifically, The freshly rolled out platform – goes by the name “Colearn Paint” – reportedly offers supporting features for groups of creators to create and collectively possess NFTs – built by a machine learning algorithm – in an automated manner.

The platform has reportedly been modified to achieve “abstract compositions”, as revealed by Humayun Sheikh, Head of Fetch.ai, who believed that “collective learning” is a significant trend in the long run.

Collective learning is reportedly a concept that can be found throughout the artificial intelligence sector, which describes the application of deep learning algorithms to data and privacy.

Users of Colearn Paint will reportedly embark on a process, broken down into three stages, regarding the creation of randomly generated NFTs, with the first phase being placing bids via a dutch auction, to take part in the collective learning process.

The individuals who win in the bidding phase will reportedly input a “randomness pattern” and choose art from the prearranged AI-generated selections. The last stage would be the creation and sale of the NFT, which supports the distribution of the profits among themselves.

NFTs have reportedly been garnering the reputation of being among the top well-known blockchain use cases, with investors and venture funds having interests to throw their weights behind this so-called future of creativity.

A variety of top-tier NFT marketplaces have reportedly been rolled out in 2021, each with its own focus and desired utility.
