Europe’s Most Trophy-laden Football Club Teamed Up With Crypto Entity for Fan Token

Rangers F.C – top-tier football club in Europe regarding success throughout its history – has reportedly teamed up with the Turkey-based crypto and Bitcoin trading platform Bitci Technology.

Specifically, Rangers Football Club – the football club with the highest trophy count in Europe – has reportedly collaborated with crypto entity Bitci, in a partnership that will last till the end of the 2022–2023 season. 

The partnership will reportedly allow Bitci name to be featured on the club’s strip, and in return the crypto entity will assist Rangers in rolling out its dedicated fan token.

“RangersFC are delighted to announce an exciting new Official Partnership with Bitci Technology, in a wide-ranging agreement that will see the @bitcicom brand appear on the Rangers First Team shorts, through until the end of the 2022/23 season.”

Established in 1872, Rangers at the moment possesses a fanbase of over 50,000 fans going to its stadium on a weekly basis. The geological demographic of its supporters covers numerous countries, nominally Sudan, Australia, Spain, the United States, and beyond.

Rangers marketing director, James Bisgrove, reportedly spoke highly of the recent alliance between the two establishments, highlighting the positive effect it brings to commercial revenue, which can happen in an immediate manner following the finalization of the partnership. 

Bitci Technology founder Çagdaş Çağlar reportedly casted predictions, claiming the symbiotic relationship between cryptocurrency and the sports sector will generate mutual advantages that both sectors can harness in the future. 

“We believe that blockchain technologies will become a crucial part of the sports industry in the near future. Sports clubs that are capable of seeing the importance of this trend today will attain a great advantage in the future.”
