World-renowned Fashion and Luxury brand Dolce and Gabbana reportedly disclosed details of an exclusive NFT collection, via a partnership with digital marketplace UNXD.

Specifically, the NFT debut collection was a joint collaboration between Dolce and Gabbana and UNXD – a marketplace dedicated to digital luxury and culture, powered by the Ether-based scaling solution Polygon.

The NFT collection will reportedly go by the name “Collezione Genesi ”, a.k.a Genesis Collection, and will be displayed in the next shows in Alta Moda, Alta Sartoria, and Alta Goilleria in Venice in August this year.

The collection will primarily revolve around the deep-rooted artistic traditions of Venice, as revealed by the brand.

The first concept in the collection reportedly took inspiration from a dream from designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, dubbed L’abito Dei Sogni, or Dress from a Dream.

The remaining NFTs in the Collezione Genesi will be publicly disclosed during the weeks leading to the Alta Moda, Alta Sartoria, and Alta Goilleria shows. Every one of them will have an exclusive auction hosted on UNXD.

Dolce and Gabbana have reportedly joined other brands of the same high-end tier to jump on the NFT train. Designers taking part in the Paris Fashion Week will feature numerous NFTs, with Gucci rumored to be establishing its presence across the NFT sphere also.

Regardless of the price value plummet of numerous crypto coins, NFTs are still moving forward steadily, with more and more additions to the market. LABS Group has put NFT to work with real estate, making it possible to buy a stake in its resort using the popular token technology. Artists such as Muse have also designed extra NFTs, with brands, nonprofits, and foundations are also jumping into this rapidly developing sector.
