Diginex Leads Asia to be A Member of Steptoe-Led Blockchain Alliance

Diginex – the digital financial services firm headquartered in Hong Kong – has become a member of Blockchain Alliance, organized by the law firm Steptoe & Johnson. 

Specifically, Diginex – the self-proclaimed “first fully diversified blockchain player on Nasdaq” – revealed that it has been accepted into the public-private forum, consists of big names who are investing resources in advancing the progress of blockchain, which marks the first for any Asian-based firm.  

The Chamber of Digital Commerce and Coin Center have partnered with one another 4 years ago, to establish the alliance, managed by law firm Steptoe & Johnson. Currently, over 100 industry and government agencies across 19 nations are part of the organization. 

The alliance further has presence of big names in the field of global regulation, nominally Interpol and Europol. High-profile key players in the crypto industry also are participants, including Coinbase and Kraken, Ripple and Circle. 

Richard Byworth – current head of Diginex – has stressed about the deep impact Blockchain Alliance can bring upon, particularly in reinforcing communications, between businesses working with blockchain and governmental departments, in an effort to reduce the problems in the field to the lowest point. 

“We are delighted to be the first firm in Asia to join this strong forum of experts, where we intend to be a key voice in driving dialogue between law enforcement, regulators and industry.” He further stated.
