The hype started when Samsung filed three trademark applications revealing plans for blockchain and cryptocurrency software for its phones in December. It included paperwork for Blockchain KeyStore, Blockchain key box, and Blockchain Core.
According to SamMobile, Samsung cryptocurrency service will likely have two part: A cold wallet for saving cryptocurrency, public and private keys and also signing private keys for cryptocurrency transactions; alongside with a crypto wallet for transfers, viewing account information and transaction history. The two has yet been named.
