Over the past few months, rumor has it that Samsung next-generation flagship phone will come loaded with crypto goodies. While Samsung has dismissed the story, opponents interested in the field will definitely keep the company on its toe.

The hype started when Samsung filed three trademark applications revealing plans for blockchain and cryptocurrency software for its phones in December. It included paperwork for Blockchain KeyStore, Blockchain key box, and Blockchain Core.

According to SamMobile,  Samsung cryptocurrency service will likely have two part: A cold wallet for saving cryptocurrency, public and private keys and also signing private keys for cryptocurrency transactions; alongside with a crypto wallet for transfers, viewing account information and transaction history.  The two has yet been named. The tale used to be syndicated around the crypto media internet construction a degree of hype similar to that once Facebook used to be rumored to be investigating into cryptocurrency.

John McAfee also commented: “Has Samsung ever made a strategic miscalculation? I think not. Crypto is not just here to stay. It is taking over. Listen market — you damn well better keep up.”

Samsung’s opponent HTC has already launched Exodus 1 – a blockchain phone equipped with the Brave decentralized browser that is powered by the BAT token which has recently been listed on Coinbase Pro. It also comes pre-loaded with a raft of security features and crypto storage facilities.
