Celer Rolled Out cBridge mainnet, Supporting Simplified Swapping Of Assets Across Blockchains

By Shannon Wilson | July 23, 2021

Layer-two scaling platform Celer Network reportedly rolled out the main net version of cBridge – a multi-chain network enabling simplified swapping assets throughout different blockchains

Specifically, cBridge is reportedly expected to make it possible to instantly moving tokens throughout Ethereum, Polygon, Binance Smart Chain, and Arbitrum networks, with no point of congestion for liquidity, occurring.

Celer reportedly believed that cBRidge will offer a solution to numerous obstacles currently blocking the way to full integration of layer-two scaling solutions, nominally an unnecessarily highly complex user experience, together with the significant resources needed for transferring assets throughout different chains.

Mo Dong, Celer Network’s co-founder, reportedly disclosed that the primary goal of the initiative is to achieve blockchain democratization, as well as increasing the attractiveness of the tech towards mainstream audiences.

”As an open-source platform with the mission to bring blockchain adoption to the mainstream, our goal with cBridge is to deliver a high-performance and cost-efficient interoperable value transfer network with no compromise on the security or trust-free guarantee.”

The application of cBridge could reportedly offer numerous benefits to DeFi users, who are able to take advantage of the tech for managing transfer and liquidity costs involved in transferring their assets.

The need for bringing down transaction costs surrounding DeFi has reportedly reeled in an increased number of developers to the Celer Network.

So far, Celer applications and middleware have gathered more than one million users, mainly in the DeFi, gaming, and interoperability niches.
