Blockchain-powered music streaming platform Audius has reportedly disclosed details of a successful release for full Solana NFT integration, offering access gateway to digital collectibles from the Solana library.

Specifically, The integration will reportedly be taking place via Phantom – Solana’s multichain wallet and browser extension. The new update will be rolled out to Audius’ silver tier profiles, accounts having in their possession over 100 of the platform’s native AUDIO tokens.

“Tooling from Metaplex and the Audius integration with Phantom made it possible to ship Solana support while maintaining the usability bar that Audius has become known for.” Roneil Rumburg, Audius’ co-founder and current Head, reportedly shared how the collaboration will offer Solana its first “NFT discovery layer”. 

Metaplex reportedly functions via an NFT marketplace that was introduced back in June based on the Solana network. Numerous celebrities and businesses have shown their endorsement of the network at the time.

Audius – on the other hand – has reportedly been in the center of attention following the details revealed regarding its freshly formed alliance with Tiktok, the well-known social media platform. 

The collaboration will reportedly offer Audius users the ability to share songs on TikTok in a direct manner for the purpose of creating short videos. 

NFTs have reportedly been able to spread through mainstream consciousness, with the help of A-tier celebrity endorsements, multi-million-dollar collections and a growing recognition that digital collectibles are the future.
