BlockApps Partners Indian IT firm to Accelerate Adoption of Blockchain Business Networks

By Shannon Wilson | August 12, 2019

BlockApps, a blockchain startup based in the US, has announced its partnership with Indian IT giant Tech Mahindra to increase the adoption of blockchain business networks.

Specifically, Tech Mahindra will reportedly support over 900 corporate global customers to adopt blockchain technology, as well as rending seamless integration with the BlockApps STRATO, a first Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform. The platform helps building and running blockchain business networks across all verticals.

The partnership went live due to the high demand of enterprise blockchain network adoption. It is getting crucial since integrating data from existing systems with blockchain technology has been considered hard to operate.

“As we continue to launch production blockchain business networks across industries such as agriculture, supply chain and entertainment, we have seen a clear need to communicate with the systems enterprises already have,” said Kieren James Lubin, CEO of BlockApps. “By working with Tech Mahindra, we can make this process easier than ever, and help companies preserve existing investments.”

BlockApps STRATO, built on Ethereum protocols, can offer core enterprise features. The platform provides flexible API integration capabilities, high transaction performance. Moreover, by using traditional business tools, enterprises are able to query and report on blockchain data.

Rajesh Dhuddu, Global Practice Leader of Blockchain at Tech Mahindra, claimed that the joint project will help companies transform their legacy systems into a blockchain-based business network.
