Binance To Offer EUR Trading Against 6 Major Crypto Coins, With Big Fiat Plans For 2020

By Natalie Wu | January 5, 2020

Malta-based crypto exchange Binance has reportedly confirmed the introduction of facilitating feature euro (EUR) trading, against 6 different digital coins, as part of its newest development.

Revealed via a blog post on January 3, Binance announced that the trading feature supporting EUR pairs would be officially available at 8pm that day.

The platform would support trading between the following pairs – EUR/Bitcoin (BTC), EUR/Ether (ETH), EUR/XRP, along with EUR/Binance Coin (BNB).

Two additional stablecoins will be added to the list facilitated pairs, including Tether (USDT) and the firm’s self-developed U.S. dollar-pegged token, Binance USD (BUSD).

The introduction is the next step of enhancing its services from Binance, with the previously rolled out feature of EUR deposits and withdrawals in November last year, which also supports the same activities for the Russian ruble, Ukrainian hryvnia and Kazakhstani tenge.

With the newest upgrade, Binance users are able to trade with the fiat currency, along with clients using Binance New Jersey, which means only Binance US is the subsidiary that has not updated the system.

“One of our key goals for 2020 is to bring crypto to the masses. For this, we aim to enable fiat-to-crypto trading for 180+ fiat currencies,” Binance CEO, Changpeng “CZ” Zhao, shared about the vision of the company for fiat in 2020.
