By Shannon Wilson | April 21, 2019

Binance has launched its mainnet blockchain, Binance Chain for swapping $3 billion Binance Coin (BNB) currently running on Ethereum blockchain. The Mainnet launch was first announced in December 2018 and now is expected to execute on April 23rd.

For further support, Binance has already published detailed information related to the conversion from ERC-20 BNB to BEP2 BNB token, the new Binance native token. After that, Binance.com will no longer support the withdrawal of ERC-20 BNB tokens.

According to the announcement, the Binance Chain Explorer and Web Wallet will be open in beta mode first, then officially open worldwide “around April 23, 2019”. Besides that, the firm will not provide any trading until the first BNB conversion batch is finished.

Based on the statistical data, the third largest crypto exchange Q1 2019 profits reached $78 million with 66% compared to the last quarter.  Recently, after the horrendous incident occurred at Notre Dame cathedral, cryptocurrency exchange giant Binance has opened a crypto funding campaign for the reconstruction of the Paris cathedral.
