According to a survey posted on February 19 by IT services company Globant, US companies may be exploring the possibility of integrating blockchain technologies into their business but they are not yet ready for its implementation.
Specifically, while 64% of firms claimed they intend to invest in using the technology, only 46% of them feel ready to start using blockchain solutions for their internal systems.
61% of companies also said they are currently researching blockchain use, but only 28% of these companies have hired a blockchain provider.
“Blockchain implementation is different for every organization, so it’s imperative for business leaders to have a unified idea of what their integration will look like. The technology as such usually requires a shift in paradigm to adopt it, thus sharing core objectives for the technology is key for a successful blockchain integration,” observed CTO of Globant’s Latin American sector Diego Tartara.
Globant conducted the survey in the first 3 months of 2018 with a total of 679 top-tier decision makers of various companies in numerous fields such as marketing, IT, and operations.
