Crypto trading and payments entity Crypto.com has reportedly disclosed details regarding the introduction of the first approved UFC non-fungible token (NFT) on November 2nd.
Specifically, the freshly rolled out NFT series of the UFC will reportedly comprise digital collectibles, nominally fight night paintings, event posters, championship belts, fighter personas, and avatars.
On November 4th, the collection of NFTs – generally referred to as “UFC 268 Packs” will be officially released to the general audience, with the next bout titled “UFC 268: Usman vs. Covington 2” will be represented by this event’s fight posters and belt designs.
Supporters will reportedly have the ability to buy the NFTs “while supplies last”.
UFC – recognized as the top mixed martial art entertainment heavyweight globally – reportedly inked a sponsorship agreement with Crypto.com, which is worth $175 million.
UFC president Dana White reportedly revealed specifics of the deal via a press conference at Madison Square Garden in New York City, which will go down in history as the sponsorship with the biggest scale of the firm up to date.
The newly formed alliance reportedly marked an additional major milestone in terms of crypto integration with the sports sector. Crypto.com previously expressed a high level of interest towards the pool of more than 625 million supporters across the globe of the UFC.
Crypto.com previously established a collaboration with Matt Damon – a top-tier Hollywood superstar, recognized for his roles in Elysium, The Bourne series, and many more.
Furthermore, Crypto.com also forged a partnership with the National Hockey League’s Montreal Canadiens, Formula One, the National Basketball Association’s Philadelphia 76ers, the Italian Serie A football league, Paris Saint-Germain, and renowned musician Snoop Dogg.
