Major blockchain software firm ConsenSys has reportedly partnered with Hitachi Solutions, to make it the first Japan-based firm authorized to carry out sales transactions of PegaSys Plus.
Specifically, Hitachi has reportedly disclosed its newly formed alliance with ConsenSys from the US, to introduce PegaSys Plus – an Ethereum-powered blockchain platform, which received the commercial license to provide a wider range of features and support – to the local market.
“We think Japan has the potential to be one of the fastest growing blockchain markets in the world over the coming years, and I am eager to drive that growth with Hitachi. We are committed to bringing our stack of products to Japan and working with the best partner possible to make Japan a global leader in the space.” Joseph Lubin – founder and current head of ConsenSys – shared his remarks regarding the development.
Together with the blockchain offerings, Hitachi also made different other tools, which help facilitate the introduction, construction, operation, and development of distributed applications utilizing Pegasys Plus, available.
ConsenSys reportedly plans to use the Hyperledger Besu-based platform as a means to make operations related to digital asset trading, electronic coupons, supply chain management, and certification better.
