The Giving Block – a high-profile organization revolves mainly around the crypto donation sector – is reportedly making strides in widening its crypto charity scope, via a newly formed alliance.
Specifically, the organization will reportedly be collaborating with charitable platform provider RenPSG, to roll out support for crypto transfers of numerous digital coins, nominally Bitcoin (BTC), into new donor-advised funds.
The crypto will be dedicated to offer financial assistance to nonprofits and other charitable organizations, as revealed by the entity.
As included in the scope of the alliance, RenPSG will begin to provide a solution, aimed at making it possible for charities to accept over 45 different crypto coins, such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH) and Dogecoin (DOGE).
Renaissance Charitable Foundation, a donor-advised fund sponsor, will reportedly take the first spot among RenPSG’s institutional customers, to add crypto to the list of viable donation measures, through the new solution, beginning the final week of September.
Established in 1987, RenPSG reportedly functions as a top-tier charity platform, running a custom donor-advised solution, via offering a proprietary philanthropic software dubbed “DFX”.
“With RenPSG’s far and wide footprint, The Giving Block has reportedly made significant progress regarding its target of turning crypto philanthropy a worldwide phenomenon.
“As the number of cryptocurrency users has grown, so has the number of crypto donations. We expect many of our clients to take advantage of this solution to diversify the types of assets they accept into their donor-advised fund offering and create interest to a whole new pool of donors.” Kelly Palmer, RenPSG’s executive director vice president of strategic growth operations additionally remarked.
