Multicoin Capital – a blockchain and crypto-focused, thesis-driven investment firm – has reportedly appointed an ex-Google product manager to be a member of its new investment principals.
Stated via a blog post on October 1, managing partner Kyle Samani claimed that Tony Sheng – the above-mentioned former Google executive will bring his expertise to the firm, acquiring new business opportunities and manage current portfolio members.
Upon the announcement of the new recruit, Samani shared that the crypto is a growing market, and there is still plenty of room for things “to get interesting.”
“With all the right forms of capital— people, financial, social, service providers, and brand—we’re looking forward to our next stage of growth as a firm. We’ve made it from 0 to 1. Now to go from 1 to N.”
Multicoin has been a part of numerous major funding rounds for the past months. The most recent was the Ethereum-compatible Skale Network, which has managed to secure $17.1 million this week, joining other investors including Winklevoss Capital and ConsenSys Labs.
