Dusk Network, a privacy-centric blockchain system, has reportedly made funding applications available for initiatives planning to design products on its network.
Specifically, the development reportedly marks an additional growth milestone for the crypto sphere, where numerous initiatives have the freedom to utilize blockchain features for their projects.
“The Dusk Grants Program seeks to engage (independent) projects, developers, researchers, academics, or community organizers that want to accelerate the growth and accessibility of the Dusk Network blockchain platform,” Dusk reportedly remarked in a public statement.
Applications are available for all individuals and entities, although relevancy to the Dusk Network is required.
Initially introduced in April, the grant reportedly hinted at an overall $5 million sum, which can be divided into a wide range of initiatives. Anyone interested is required to complete a six-stage application protocol, starting with an inquiry form and ending with onboarding.
The statement further mentioned nominal initiatives to which Dusk is keen on dedicating the fund, including mainstream adoption-driving projects.
Since Bitcoin was officially released in 2009, numerous different blockchains have surfaced, nominally Ether, which offers an environment facilitating product designing. Dusk has a goal of providing a privacy-centric blockchain, which projects are able to harness for building.
“In the coming year, a newly instantiated Governance Council consisting of core team members and reputable industry developers will start to govern the grant program,” Dusk additionally revealed.
