Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) and Blockstream have upgraded their joint Cryptocurrency Data Feed product to now “offer greater transparency, streaming real-time data for 400+ fiat and cryptocurrency pairs + new venues & full Level 2 data”, ICE tweeted (Jan 24).
ICE is a US-based company founded in 2000 which owns global financial exchanges and operates 23 of them, including the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). It first launched Cryptocurrency Data Feed a year ago in collaboration with Blockstream, which majors in Bitcoin and blockchain technologies. The feed offers real-time crypto market information, and initially began with offering data from 15 crypto exchanges worldwide.
With the latest “Crypto Feed V3” upgrade, Cryptocurrency Data Feed now provides information from more than 30 exchanges and covers over 400 crypto and fiat trading pairs.
The feed also offers a host of other features, such as comprehensive historic data, daily market summaries, and full Level 2 order book data for a full depth of the market. For security, it is backed by ICE’s Secure Financial Transaction Infrastructure (SFTI) to save time for investors and notify users immediately in cases of emergency.
