Freshly overhauled digital remittance platform Wirex has now extended its services in its latest 3.0 version to include, amongst other things, the ability to transact in ten new fiat currencies.

As announced in a press release (Feb 27), the 10 fiat currencies are AUD, CAD, CHF, CZK, HKD, JPY, SGD, EUR, USD, and GBP. Wirex 3.0 also boasts enhancements such as unconditional access to Over-the-Counter (OTC) rates for crypto exchanges, traditional currency exchange at interbank rates, fund transfers using Faster Payments, SEPA, and SWIFT, as well as an updated and transparent fee structure.

Wirex 3.0 will not just serve users in Europe but also those in the Asia Pacific region, and Canada now, where customers in these areas will be able to utilize Wirex services in their national currencies.

Wirex was the third entity to be given an e-money license by the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority last August.
