Munch – an anticipated DeFi initiative which enables partial giving back of investors’ income to charities – is reportedly forming an alliance with The Giving Block – a major platform devoted to crypto-friendly nonprofits.
Specifically, the new partnership – which could significantly accelerate the growth of the crypto donations sector – will reportedly establish a bridge between the Munch network, with The Giving Block’s growing community of crypto-ready nonprofits, enabling simplified donation for charity causes they are interested in.
The collaboration will enable direct acceptance of Munch donations for nonprofits, as well as finalizing the creation of a profile on The Giving Block’s fundraising platform.
Previously, Munch reportedly managed to secure more than $1 million via fundraising for developing nations, represented by the GiveWell Maximum Impact Fund. The fund will be channeled towards fighting against malaria and other diseases in Africa.
As revealed by Alex Wilson, co-founder of The Giving Block, up to now, Munch has been able to secure approximately $3 million via fundraising in less than two months, which not only financially support different charity causes and offer major impact, but will also bring crypto to an entirely new group of audience.
“This partnership gives us the reach to offer our community more causes they care about. With our future development, this is set to do a tremendous amount of good for a lot of people.”
Crypto-centric charities reportedly are becoming more and more popular, with a nominally example of a funding of more than $2 million dedicated to Endaoment, a new charitable organization with a primary goal to ultimately operate as a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO).
