The Blockchain Education Alliance – a project developed by full-service blockchain accelerator MouseBelt – has seen numerous big names onboard.
Specifically, Ashlie Meredith – MouseBelt Blockchain Accelerator head of university program – has revealed the identity of some significant new members, nominally payment processing heavyweight Mastercard, Binance X – innovation-focused branch of Binance, Ripple’s Xpring, along with crypto exchange firm KuCoin.
Smart contract firm NEO, internet-of-things startup IoTeX, blockchain security company Quantstamp, as well as big data blockchain service provider Constellation Labs have all decided to be a part of the alliance.
The Blockchain Education Alliance set its primary goal to help enhance education, in an effort to enable “students to receive the skills, connections, and knowledge necessary to contribute to the blockchain ecosystem.”
Upon the official release in October last year, Stellar Development Foundation, Tron, Hedera, Icon, Ontology, Wanchain, Harmony One, Nervos, Orbs, LTO Network, Emurgo, Nem, and ETC Labs were among its original members.
In August 2019, MouseBelt has kickstarted blockchain education projects throughout 3 campuses, belonging to the University of California.
