Klaytn – the Ground X-designed public blockchain platform of South Korean Internet heavyweight Kakao – has reportedly become the new member of Celo’s Alliance for Prosperity.
Specifically, Klaytn will reportedly conduct study regarding interoperability between the Klaytn and Celo platforms, along with the integration of its KLAY token on Celo’s ecosystem.
Chuck Kimble – Celo’s Alliance for Prosperity manager – reportedly highlighted that Klaytn will finalize the comprising process of the first external blockchain, interoperable with Celo.
“By building a bridge between Klaytn and Celo, Klaytn will expand its own ecosystem, and make it simple for people in Korea and across Asia to send and save with Celo”
Sangmin Seo, Ground X’s platform group director – reported remarked that Klaytn’s vision is in line with that of the alliance, to bring up the accessibility and usefulness level of crypto assets in “everyday lives”.
With Libra reportedly facing numerous obstacles, regulatory-wise, Celo, its rival, with a higher decentralization level has reportedly enabled it to achieve noteworthy development, since its roll-out a few months ago.
