Bitcoin’s Lightning Network Now Allows Transfers without Invoice

Future.Travel – the Vietnam-based online ticketing platform – has reportedly added the Lightning Network (LN)-enabled Bitcoin payment option, with a conversion process to local currency conducted at sale time.

Specifically, Future.Travel has reportedly forged an alliance with the tech startup Neutronpay from Canada to roll out this development. Neutronpay will grant Future.Travel access to its multi-currency merchant platform.

The freshly added means of payment will reportedly help bring down the required time to finalize BTC transaction significantly, to just three to four seconds, for the majority of cases.

Future.Travel has reportedly been offering facilitation for Bitcoin (BTC) payments for more than half a decade (6 years) and has rolled out additional support for numerous crypto coins more, nominally Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Ether (ETH).

The firm reportedly believed LN integration will put an end to online fraud and associated credit card charge-backs.

“The Lightning Network is the next step to reducing overheads of both cost and time.” David Watson – general director at Future.Travel – reportedly shared his remarks regarding the update.
