Lamborghini-supported GT Racing Team to Carry Out Car Parts NFT Authentication

Lamborghini-backed GT racing team Vincenzo Sospiri Racing (VSR) reportedly revealed its alliance with NFT platform Go2NFT to introduce a program dedicated to racing car parts ceritifcation.

Specifically, former racing champion Vincenzo Sospiri from the VSR reportedly claimed that their team is going to develop NFT certification for their race cars via utilizing Go2NFT and blockchain platform Skey Network, which will enable the monitoring guarantee for the quality of the car parts.

“This also brings great responsibility to ensure that we can securely authenticate and audit every part of our racing fleet to monitor performance and ensure provenance.”

Besides the car parts, VSR is reportedly also having plans down its pipeline to widen the scope of the NFT certification program to official merchandise and its other products. Per the team, the initiative will allow supporters to purchase branded goods without having any doubts or concerns.

Boris Ejsymont, an executive at Go2NFT, reportedly disclosed that their team understands the obtacles that accompanies the protection of their intellectual property, with a belief that NFTs can offer an answer to the matter.

“We believe that NFT utility can help create more trust and transparency for brands and their fans. This project with VSR is just the start of many such co-operations for beloved brands across the globe.”

The racing and crypto sphere has reportedly been having a good collision in 2022. In February, Formula 1 racing team Red Bull Racing sucecessfully forged a $150 million alliance with the crypto exchange platform Bybit. Bybit founder Ben Zhou stated that the collaboration will make it possible for its team to connect with people who are new to the crypto sphere.

In March, Crypto.com reportedly teamed up with car manufacturer Aston Martin’s Formula 1 team, which will see the brand’s F1 cars featuring advertisements of the exchange. Jefferson Slack, an executive at Aston Martin, noted that the move allows the car manufacturer to understand the crypto space more.
