On March 27, digital asset transactions and exchange services KuCoin has officially released the option of purchasing crypto via Visa and MasterCard credit cards for their users, according to the announcement on KuKoin’s website.
By partnering with Israel-based payments processing firm Simplex, KuCoin now allow users to buy the following cryptocurrency with both dollars (USD) and euros (EUR): Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Bitcoin Cash ABC (BCHABC) and Litecoin (LTC). The feature is now available for purchase in more than 100 countries.
Israel-based Bitcoin exchanges provider Simplex has known for its partnership with others crypto-major company as well, including Shapeshift, BRD, Litecoin Foundation, Mycrypto, XAPO, and Changelly. Recently in February, Simplex has also provided its payment processing service to giant crypto exchange platform Binance with the same crypto purchase via credit card feature.
In late November 2018, KuCoin ended the Series A funding round with $20 million. The fund is reported to invest in the development for KuCoin’s 2.0 platform.
