Crypto exchange KuCoin is reportedly incorporating a new native token swap feature to its in-house wallet, following the integration with DeFi market maker 1inch’s application programming interface.

Specifically, 1inch’s Pathfinder algorithm reportedly aims to amplify the feature of KuCoin Wallet, the exchange’s freshly rolled out decentralized wallet platform, which comes with cross-chain trading, and DeFi and nonfungible token (NFT) support.

The algorithm plans to aggregate liquidity from more than 250 sources from automated market makers as well as proactive market makers throughout the DeFi ecosystem. 

1inch plugs into liquidity sources operating throughout nine different blockchain networks, offering a vast array of tradable asset pairs.

The new alliance will reportedly make it possible for KuCoin Wallet users to tap into 1inch’s Limit Order Protocol feature. These orders are filled at a predetermined price once it is reached. 

This reportedly includes gasless limit orders for Ether (ETH), requests for quotations on the blockchain, and other tokens that need permits instead of transaction go-ahead.

KuCoin Wallet head Jeff Haul further claimed that 1inch has positioned the firm as a pioneering entity in the DeFi aggregator sphere, with its feature aiming at bringing enhancements to KuCoin Wallet’s services to its users.

Security of assets has reportedly been carefully assessed throughout the past months, with the prevalence of several high-profile exploits and hacks of exchanges and DeFi platforms.
