Justin Sun has revealed that the Tron team is developing a system to enable users to transfer stablecoins without incurring gas fees.
New Project Announcement
Tron (TRX) founder Justin Sun has announced his latest project. He disclosed that the Tron team is working on a system allowing users to transfer stablecoins without gas fees.
In his statement, Sun explained that the gas fees for transactions would be entirely covered by the stablecoins themselves. This means that users won’t need to pay gas fees for stablecoin transfers; instead, the fees will be fully paid by the stablecoins.
Implementation and Expansion
The newly developed stablecoin system is set to launch on the Tron blockchain in the fourth quarter and will subsequently expand to all Ethereum (ETH) and Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible blockchains.
“Our team is developing a new solution that allows stablecoin transfers without gas fees. In other words, transfers can occur without users paying any gas tokens, with the fees being completely covered by the stablecoins,” Sun stated.
“We expect to launch this service in the fourth quarter of this year. I believe similar services will make it easier for major companies to deploy stablecoin services on the blockchain and elevate blockchain adoption to new heights.”
“This innovation will first be implemented on the Tron blockchain and will then support all public chains compatible with Ethereum and EVM,” Sun added.
