The Italian Postal Service provider, Poste Italiane has joined the Hyperledger blockchain community to create open-source standards for blockchain. The community consists of several industry leaders, such as American Express, Cisco, Intel, JPMorgan, Deloitte and Huawei.

Poste Italiane announced in a press release that joining Hyperledger is a part of its service’s Deliver 2022 Business Plan which involves the acquisition and acceleration of new technology. They stated that blockchain tech was “an effective response to the problems of security, transparency, interoperability and privacy.”

As The Crypto Sight reported on Jan 27, the US food and agriculture product provider Cargill is investing its resources to aid the adoption of Hyperledger Grid. It will offer a new solution for global food with supply-chain use cases including food safety, trade settlement and more.
