Paysafe – the parenting firm of online money transfer service Skrill – reportedly revealed its initiative to release additional built-in support features for 20 more crypto coins, in its digital wallet.

Specifically, starting this week, the new update will reportedly make it possible for users not based on US soil to tap into a total of 35 digital coins, per the firm. Crypto buy and sell services are also rolled out in 48 U.S. states and territories.

The freshly added crypto coins for facilitation reportedly include DeFi assets like Aave, Balancer, Curve, Compound, Synthetix, Uniswap, and Sushiswap. Polygon and Dogecoin (DOGE).

Users of NETELLER – a different money transfer service within the Paysafe group – can reportedly also utilize the updated crypto wallet.

“After a surge in overall activity in the industry, we’re seeing more interest in cryptocurrency than ever from our digital wallet customers, both current and new. Our aim is to make it even easier for consumers to get started in crypto using Skrill or NETELLER.” Rupinder Singh, a senior vice president with Paysafe, reportedly remarked regarding the development.

Skrill was reportedly recognized at the beginning of last year as a potential driver of cryptocurrency adoption. During that time, the payment entity is working towards establishing its presence in the crypto sphere, with a release of fiat-to-crypto conversion offerings, as well as an end-to-end integration of Bitcoin (BTC) into its Quick Checkout module.

Skrill’s internal research from early 2021 reportedly suggested that throughout the 8,000 participants of its survey, 28% of them had a belief that crypto is a suitable investment outfit for the long run. 38% shared that they already purchased cryptocurrency.
