Bitcoin Depot – the globally top-tier Bitcoin ATM operating entity – will reportedly be installing its equipment across Circle K spots throughout America and Canada. 

Specifically, Bitcoin Depot reportedly revealed on July 22nd that the installation process for over 700 of its Bitcoin ATM machines in Circle K convenience stores have been completed throughout 30 U.S. states, as included within the scope of a new collaboration. 

The crypto ATM distributor reportedly remarked that the development could establish an access gateway into finance for underserved communities, as well as reeling in additional individuals to the crypto sphere. 

“Over the last year, we have watched cryptocurrency gain mainstream adoption by wealth managers and investment firms, but what about the people that don’t have access to those services?” Bitcoin Depot’s director of product Alona Lubovnaya reportedly claimed. 

Per the Director, placing ATMs in Circle K CVSes will offer a simplified alternative for underbanked and less affluent, not just limited to people having a wealth manager anymore. 

The firm reportedly disclosed that there are currently over 3,500 crypto ATMs normally functional throughout the U.S. and Canada, offering facilitating features for buying over 30 different kinds of crypto coins, nominally Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), and Ether (ETH).

Alimentation Couche-Tard, the Canada-based operator of Circle K, reportedly shared that its brand is in charge of running approximately 7,150 and 2,111 stores in the US and Canada respectively.

The number of crypto ATMs worldwide enabling fiat-to-crypto conversion has witnessed a surge within the past years, with nearly 24,000 crypto ATMs installed in 75 nations.
