Web3 developer hub Coinbase Cloud has reportedly introduced a suite of tools, aimed at facilitating the growth across the Avalanche blockchain and smart contract platform.
Specifically, as included in the scope of the freshly rolled out functionalities, Coinbase Cloud is reportedly operating an Avalanche (AVAX) public validator node, which enables staking of AVAX tokens for Avalanche network participants with Coinbase Cloud, as well as delegating power for validating blockchain-based transactions.
Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility reportedly makes it possible for a network to take advantage of the security of the Ethereum (ETH) network. Tokens on EVM compatible chains can also be bridged seamlessly between each other.
An AVAX integration with Coinbase Wallet – the crypto exchange’s proprietary Web3-enabled digital asset wallet – is reportedly also included in the update, which will equip developers with the related papers required to complete deployment of applications across the Avalanche network.
Coinbase Wallet also rolled out supporting features for Solana (SOL) in March this year.
Coinbase Cloud will enhance the Query and Transact feature for its users, with the functionality offering a simplified method for finding, interacting with, and studying portions of the code that make up the Avalanche network.
Coinbase Cloud reportedly shared a belief that via offering that kind of access, developers will have the ability to “configure who can access the node infrastructure, and distribute their nodes across four geographic regions and two cloud providers” with limited downtime.
Coinbase Cloud reportedly operates as a Web3 developer support platform from the Coinbase crypto exchange, which was publicly released in October 2021.
