Brave Users Can See Binance Widget on Desktop Browsers

By | May 2, 2020

The Binance widget has been made available for the latest stable release of Brave – the decentralized web browser – across all of its desktop versions.

Earlier, Binance widget was only available for testing in Brave Nightly and Beta versions. Since April 30, it has been enabled by default. Now millions of desktop users of Brave can have a quick access to Binance cryptocurrency exchange after opening a new tab or window.

Specifically, the new Binance widget along with the Brave rewards widget are placed on the right side of the page. Brave users who have Binance accounts can have a summary view of their assets, buy cryptocurrency, deposit assets onto the exchange and convert between any asset supported.

Integration comes with privacy. Binance widget will only link with the Binance API after authenticating the interaction of users. The browser also offers disconnection option, where users can choose to disconnect the widget, stopping the browser from interacting with their accounts. Brave users can manually hide the widget if they want.

Last year, Brave has overtaken other major browsers to rank 1st in Japan Google Play rankings. Stepped into the market, Brave distinguished itself by tokenizing certain aspects of the internet browser experience for users.

By watching ads and claiming grants, Brave users can earn Basic Attention Token, the native token of the browser. These tokens then can be used as tips from viewers to content creators on Reddit and Vimeo sites, reported by TheCrypoSight in September 2019.
