Binance US – the US-based site of the Malta-headquartered, high profile crypto exchange Binance – has officially made its Puerto Rican-focused account registration and verification platform available.
As stated via an announcement on September 30, the citizens of Puerto Rico currently Binance’s clients will be granted the access level equivalent to the US residents, from the states that have been authorized to use the services.
Previously, Binance US has officially started to facilitate transactions beginning September 24, free-of-charge until early November.
The trading pairs will be in big digital coins in the market at the moment, nominally Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), XRP, Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), Binance Coin (BNB) and the Tether (USDT) stablecoin.
The Puerto Rican clients will also be eligible for the zero service fees until the beginning of November.
Under the Know Your Customer measures, every Binance.US clients needs to submit a government-approved ID, along with their Social Security number, so that the account registration process can be finalized.
