Beowulf Blockchain and Bach Mai Hospital, one of the largest and oldest state-owned hospitals in Vietnam, with satellite hospitals across the country, signed an agreement to implement Beowulf Telemedicine technology, with the aim of providing real-time video conferencing for remote clinical consultations and medical trainings.
This partnership will deliver telemedicine services across Vietnam to further strengthen the quality and scope of healthcare, even in remote areas of the country. It will do this by enabling patients to discuss their health concerns and medical conditions directly with healthcare providers through the simple push of a button. In addition, Beowulf’s real-time video conferencing technology will also be used to connect medical students and clinicians to the best healthcare providers that are concentrated in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi for various workshops and training programs.
Considered one of the largest state-owned hospitals in Vietnam, Bach Mai Hospital – a subunit of the Ministry of Health – has held an important role in the national healthcare system since its establishment in 1911.
“We are pleased to build on this new partnership with Bach Mai Hospital to leverage our advanced Telemedicine technology as the anchor for the provision of remote consultation via video conferencing,” said Dr. William H. Nguyen, CEO and Founder of Beowulf Blockchain. “Beowulf Blockchain is now more entrenched than ever in the medical field as we continue to expand our network through forging partnerships with Vietnam’s leading healthcare centers. These factors, coupled with today’s agreement, reinforce our confidence in the adoption of telemedicine and its growth opportunities to drive our mission of making healthcare accessible and affordable for everyone across the world anywhere, and anytime.”
Beowulf Blockchain enables innovative businesses to easily add real-time communication capabilities, such as voice/video, messaging, and video conference calls, with zero entry barriers and low operational costs. Among its many services, Beowulf Blockchain provides schools and educational institutions around the world with a distance learning platform where they can conduct real-time video conferencing.
